Palm Beach fashion week producer since 2011 Lilyana Eisele recently produced the largest fashion week under 1 roof in the state of
Florida with 18 shows in just 3 days Fashion Week Palm Beach. The event spanned
2 weeks across The Palm Beaches. The production was combined with Lilyana's 3rd
annual Fusion Fashion & Art Week and held on the waterfront in downtown
West Palm Beach at the Lake Pavilion. When asked why the 2 shows were combined
she replied,
"The Fusion show is a fashion week and an art week together. This is the meaning of Fusion, to bring things together. The fashion week name simply reflects it's location in the Palm Beaches. It's a no brainer and nothing new, they have always been combined."
What is the goal of combining a fashion week and art
show?
"The vision and purpose of fusion it to raise awareness of fashion in the proper 3D art context. Fashion is a very intimate form of art that people experience every day but most take for granted. There is an art to living that it starts with being aware and appreciative of the art that is in our lives. There are also many other 2D and 3d art forms that derive their inspiration from fashion. The Fusion show is where this fashion inspired art can be presented best to those who appreciate fashion."
Did you set out to make any records or was this
intentional?
“No. In the beginning we knew there was a potential but it was never our goal. We have a fairly extensive network and received over 100 designer submissions for the show. Picking only 18 was not easy.”So what is in store for next year?
"Next year will be our 4th year of fashion week production in Palm Beach county so of course well will be producing the Fusion show with Fashion Week Palm Beach. Also, we will be rolling out the first ever Palm Beach Swim Week. The true fashion of swim and resortwear unique to The Palm Beaches will finally be on the runway in the spring."
Fashion Week Palm Beach had 5 event dates which included
3 days and nights of runway shows for a total of 18 shows under 1 roof making
Fashion Week Palm Beach the largest fashion week in the state of Florida.
Runway fashions included men's and women's swimwear as well as couture;
art-to-wear, resort wear, ready-wear, recycled eco wear, Egyptian accessories
and couture pearl artwear.
Now in her 4th year of producing fashion weeks and adding
Palm Beach Swim Week in spring of 2015 Lilyana is well on her way to bringing
the fashion world to The Palm Beaches. More info at
